Located just north of Orlando in Lake Mary, Planet Obstacle is the World’s Largest Indoor Obstacle Park.

Though this hasn’t been officially verified, there’s no denying that the facility features a wide range of activities that are ideal for families traveling with children.

The 50,000-square-foot park provides a day full of unique, challenging, and safe courses for all ages.

The main purpose is to enjoy healthy exercise, to learn about fitness, and to connect with others.

Ninja courses for kids and adults, balance beams, climbing walls, and more ropes and nets than a commercial fishing trawler are all available.

Their ropes course is insanely outstanding, and they even have a separate ropes course for small children!

They have a ramp with the handhold thing you can hold on to and let go of, tons of trampolines, and at least 3 foam pits.

Also, is a rock wall, zip line, and other little playground areas, as well as bungee jumping.

Don’t arrive hungry because you’ll need a lot of energy to fully appreciate the facility.

As a heads up, weekends can be chaotic, especially with birthday parties happening all around.

Even while still chaotic, the lines for stuff still move at a decent pace thanks to some great staff members.

This is really a great place for a fun few hours of family time!

Say you are in Altamonte Springs and you want to give your children the best treatment and want to relax at the same time. Hermits Trail park is your go-to place.

It’s a busy neighborhood park with plenty of shady trees and easy access to amenities.

A picnic shelter with tables and seats is available in this park, where you may set up your snacks and beverages.

They have three play “stations” for kids to play at each developmental stage.

It also features a large playground where the kids may have a lot of fun swinging, sliding, and playing.

However, most of the playground is also visible from the sitting area, which is helpful if you have to feed a little one while the big kids play.

There are benches strewn throughout the park where you may sit and observe the kids.

Your kids would have so much fun here.

The only thing it’s missing is a restroom, but other than that, it’s a shady fenced-in park with lots to do and plenty of space.

Parking is simple as well.

We definitely recommend this spot for some great family time if you happen to be in Altamonte Springs.

The Enzian Theater is a wonderful vintage-style movie theater space with good food and drinks as well.

With only one screen, the Enzian Theater is unlike any of the major movie theater chains, which are usually lacking in character.

This richness in character is precisely what makes it unique and charming.

Besides, the theater features classic, retro, and new release films, as well as an onsite bar with excellent beverages.

The Enzian Theater is all about indie films and hosts the annual Florida Film Festival, which is a big hit with the artsy crowd.

The lovely eats and drinks will make you feel so happy inside. It is also a place to catch a movie or event outside of the norm.

Film Festivals, cult classics, independent and foreign films, special events all happen here. They also have a large gravel lot with lots of parking.

There is an outdoor bar area for an adult beverages and inside the seating are both booths and tables.

Their booths, however, are comfy and kept nice. All seating allows for a good view of the screen.

Running along the former line of the Orange Belt Railway, the Seminole-Wekiva Trail offers a peaceful alternative to the busy streets of Altamonte Springs.

Seminole Wekiva Trail is a 14-mile (6-kilometer) hiking trail popular with adventurers looking to get some cardio in while visiting the city.

Wonderful trail, wide and well maintained.

Plenty of shade along the way.

You can also take money with you in case you decide to stop at one of the cafes you pass.

The trail begins at the Prado trailhead in San Sebastian.

Furthermore, you’ll pass through lush woodlands, the Seminole County Softball Complex, and the International Parkway commercial sector on your way.

The Seminole Wekiva Trail comes to an end at the trailhead on Markham Road.

Please remember if you have to stop on the bike path, move over to the side.

Make sure to get the tickets early as they sell out rapidly, but to prevent a sold-out situation, get them in advance of your trip.

The park is, however, located in a beautiful area and is excellent for exciting outdoor activities.

The park hosts several community events, like movies and yoga classes.

Some other activities include a tunnel to Towers 5K run/walk race on 9/11.

However, during the holidays, it lights up with many displays celebrating this time of year and there is music being played throughout the park.

The floating stage is quite unique, complete with a synchronized fountain display.

All year-round, it is a nice place to visit.

The Morse Museum is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by American artist and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Tiffany did not only make glass lampshades; he also made jewelry, pottery, and paintings, and all of his surviving creations are extremely valuable.

Tiffany’s Long Island home and studio provided inspiration for many of the museum’s pieces.

This museum has a lovely display of some Tiffany lamps and many pieces of stained glass work that were once in their Long Island estate.

It also includes the Chapel that was created for a World’s Fair and a gallery of paintings that are very enjoyable.

Moreover, at a steady pace, you can cover the entire museum in under 3 hours, so just make sure you take your time.

There is no better spot to spend a few mornings or afternoon hours if you are interested in art, history, or culture.

The gift shop is well worth a stop, too. Parking is also easy once we figured out where the museum entrance is located.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, and all significant holidays are closed.
