Located on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, cancer Survivors Park is a wonderful memorial to Cancer Survivors.

Currently, North America is home to a number of Cancer Survivors’ parks.

Despite the differences among them, all parks share three characteristics.

There’s a sculpture by renowned Mexican artist Victor Salmones titled “Cancer: There is Hope.”

There’s also the “Positive Mental Attitude Walk”. It is a sculpture that shows eight life-size individuals navigating a maze that represents cancer treatments and success.

Visitors can stroll through this area, practice meditation, and read 14 plaques that feature words of inspiration and advice inspired by Richard Bloch.

There is even a “Road to Recovery” with seven plaques that describe cancer and provide basic steps for recovery.

Similarly, CSP offers guests chances to participate in their treatment on a mental, physical, and spiritual level.

You will find the “Oldest Original” Steinway & Sons piano, the first piano ever advertised and sold in America (1775), Josh White’s 1943 Martin guitar, a look back at music recording and listening technology, and much more here.

In addition, Harpsichord with two keyboards and a piano that Chopin played during a concert in England are two particularly interesting pieces of equipment.

In fact, it’s a terrific way to view the town and explore some of Greenville’s downtown most breathtaking attractions.

The first trolley made its way through Greenville in 1901, costing one nickel.

But today? It’s free and among the finest ways to move around Greenville.

The trolley circulates around the downtown area on six distinct routes for free every day of the year, from Thursday through Sunday (or seasonally for certain routes).

Additionally, the wheelchair-accessible, vintage open-air trolleys in red and blue are fitted with bike racks.

You can also get off or on at specified stations.

Obtain the free Greenville Trolley app as well! It will tell you where the nearest trolley is, which will make timing your arrival at a specific trolley stop much simpler.

31. Mice On Main

Mice on Main is one of those things in downtown Greenville that you will rarely find anywhere else.

Kids may participate in a scavenger hunt for nine bronze mice hidden around Main Street thanks to this fantastic idea from a college student.

The mice were created by local sculptor and cartoonist Zan Wells as part of Jim Ryan’s high school final project.

A children’s book named Goodnight Moon inspired the project.

The bronze mice of Greenville are sporadically placed on either side of Main Street, from the Hyatt to the Westin Poinsett Hotel.

Finding them is a fantastic opportunity to get some exercise and learn about Greenville.
